Klamath Community College’s Department of Agriculture Science and Business is designed for students pursuing a career in the agriculture industry. Program studies prepare students for career opportunities as Agriculture Loan Officer, Agriculture Teacher, Farm and Ranch Manager, Forest Management Specialist, Geologist, and Water Resource Manager.
KCC offers students an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Agriculture Science. This degree is closely aligned with both the Oregon and National Standards for Agriculture and Natural Resource Education, and is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful as an entrepreneur, employee, or as a student at a four-year institution.
Students have access to education in agribusiness management, animal science, plant science, soil science, modern agriculture technology and natural resource management through a variety of resources — including on-campus labs, the Learning Resource Center and off-campus work experience.
